Good food starts with knowing where it comes from. Where's The Farmer helps you discover local farms, independent growers, butchers and fresh produce sellers in your area. Explore the map, browse recent farm posts and get to know the people behind your next meal.
A simpler way to find farms near you
Choose whether to turn on location, then use the Map, Posts or Farmers tabs to explore nearby listings. Tap a map pin to view a farmer or a post, or open its location in Maps. Search for produce you enjoy, compare the details and visit a farmer's profile to learn more.
Buy direct from local farmers
Finding local farmers near you makes it easier to ask where food was grown, what is in season and how to collect it. You might discover vegetables, fruit, eggs, meat or herbs from a producer you had not heard of. Save farms to your favourites and contact the seller to confirm availability before making a trip.
Give your farm a place to be found
For farmers and other independent food producers, a public profile helps local people discover your business. Add your farm's name and location, explain what you produce and share current listings. Clear product descriptions and up-to-date details help customers decide whether your farm is right for them. Posting and additional profile features depend on your account's access.
Farm stands, seasonal food and produce boxes
Looking for farm stands near you, a seasonal vegetable box or a CSA near you? Start by exploring the farmers listed in your area, then ask individual growers what they offer. A profile is not a promise of stock, opening hours or a CSA membership; arrangements and availability should always be confirmed with the producer.
Your location is your choice
Location is opt-in, not a condition for reading about the service. Turning it on helps show nearby farmers and calculate distances. Optional map services have their own consent choice, and you can review your settings in our Privacy Policy. We do not publish your customer location as a farm listing. You stay in control of browser permissions.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to share my location?
No. You can read public farm profiles and information pages without sharing your location. Nearby results and distances work best when you choose to enable location.
Can I buy produce directly through a listing?
Listings help you discover producers and contact them. Confirm stock, collection, delivery and payment arrangements with the farmer; a listing alone does not complete a purchase.
